As urban young professionals of the “Millennial” generation, we’re often labeled as materialistic, spoiled and filled with a sense of entitlement… Ouch! Throw in social media, where financial milestones are routinely broadcast to our friends and peer networks, and you’ll find some unique (to say the least) spending habits. Well, regardless of what we’re spending our hard earned cash on, the truth is, “the 80 million members of the Millennial generation (born 1977 to 1995) represent 25% of the U.S. population and more than $200 billion in annual buying power” (https://www.barkleyus.com/millennials). So, it goes without saying that our dollars count. If you work hard and play harder, let’s hear it! What’s your guilty financial pleasure — that one thing that drains your wallet no matter how much you may try to fill your “rainy day” account? Whether you’re feeding an insatiable shoe fetish or lusting for travel, share your thoughts with us inside the work room!

My guilty pleasure is online shopping! My actual money drain is eating out and drinks at the bar… oo and dry cleaning. Smh you’d be surprised how much dry cleaning can cost!
I should have Chipotle stock by now. It’s bad… Haha
Lately it’s been online shopping but more consistently…my Brazilian 😉
My guilty pleasure is travel! I just can’t get enough passport stamps!
Oh.. And how could I forget – guacamole at Chipotle!
Ballin.
🙂
So I have a few guilty pleasures… (To say the least) but of them all, my manicures and pedicures are a must! I have to get a gel manicure and pedicure every two weeks! Even if my nails look fine after two weeks – I look forward to getting a new color! I feel that it’s the least I can do for myself! Also – I’ve become quite the MAC addict this past year as I venture more into make up and application.
