Black Cotton Club’s summer 25’ series, ‘WTF are we Re-Imagining?’, is an invitation for voices and bodies to reflect the lessons of the stars, the imagination of beyond and most importantly the inspiration and challenge of building futures rooted in care, resistance, and collective possibility.

A little bit’ About Us:
Black Cotton Club actively demystifies the role of an entertainer and an audience, by incorporating an interactive, intimate and impromptu experience in collaboration with the band and the audience. We welcome the audience to be unfiltered and unapologetically themselves and co-create with a live band. In the act of demystifying the role of a performer, we invite voices to sing songs, recite poetry, share affirmations, and more in partnership with a live band. The audience controls the ambience of the event through their own narrative. The only rule is, Take Off Your Cool! We believe that there is an artist in everyone and you deserve to be heard.

In 2016, Black Cotton Club started in Boston as an Open mic at Inner Sanctum. We moved to Frugal Bookstore with the hopes of connecting with local businesses in Boston and grew our audience to serve over 5,000 people in 3 years. We’ve toured to Philly, NY, and Atlanta and collaborated with brands and organizations that are ….
