Past Partnerships

City of Boston Supplier Diversity Office

October 2025, we partnered with the City of Boston’s Supplier Diversity Office to produce a high-impact “Small Business Mixer” where entrepreneurs and business owners (particularly those from historically underrepresented communities) could learn about certification pathways, upcoming contracting opportunities, and citywide procurement initiatives.

Our team curated the program, including event flow and networking activities designed to spark meaningful connections. The result was an energetic, well-attended gathering that deepened engagement between Boston’s small business ecosystem and municipal partners, while reinforcing the city’s commitment to equitable economic development.

Save the Harbor/Save the Bay and the MA Department of Conservation & Recreation (DCR)

July 2025, we were awarded a “Better Beaches Grant” from Save the Harbor/Save the Bay to host The Sunset Social” at Tenean Beach Park. This was a free community gathering designed to activate Boston’s waterfront.

We curated an evening experience that brought residents together through music, movement, and social engagement along the shoreline. Our team produced a warm, welcoming environment that encouraged attendees who may not regularly visit the beach to experience Tenean Beach in a new way. The event aligned with the program’s mission to diversify waterfront usage and reduce barriers to access, while showcasing LiteWork Events’ ability to build inclusive community spaces in nontraditional outdoor settings.

Museum of Fine Arts (MFA), Boston

Since 2019, we have partnered with the Museum of Fine Arts through their Public Programs and Film Programming departments. In June 2025, we co-presented a Film Screening of Spike Lee’s School Daze. This collaboration brought together film, culture, and community by highlighting the historical and contemporary significance of Black fraternity and sorority life.

The event featured a dynamic mix of film, conversation, and fellowship, offering attendees an opportunity to engage with themes of identity, activism, and the legacy of HBCU culture.

In colalboration with the Greater Boston National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC), the program created a vibrant, intergenerational space that celebrated Black excellence while deepening community engagement within one of Boston’s most iconic cultural institutions.

Partners in Health

Since 2021, we have collaborated with Partners In Health (PIH) in raising funds while bringing together the local Haitian Diaspora as part of the annual Black Boston for Haiti” event. This community-centered fundraiser supports critical health and humanitarian efforts in Haiti. Rooted in solidarity and cultural pride, the event brings together Boston’s Black young professionals, Haitian leaders, and allies for an evening of purpose-driven connection.

Our team curated a selection of vendors, food and entertainment to create an energetic atmosphere that provides a spact to amplify PIH’s long-standing work in Haiti. Each year the event successfully mobilizes local support and elevated awareness of Haiti’s ongoing needs. To date, we have raised over $20,000 for PIH.
